Skillet Toasted Coconut
No, those aren’t hashbrowns! I knew I needed to toast some coconut for our Tres Leches Cake and I didn’t feel like warming the house and oven up just for a cup of coconut. Plus, I’m lazy so I figured it has to work right? Yay, it did – so here you go! Imagine the possibilities of toasted coconut in literally five minutes. Ice cream, french toast, a drizzle of chocolate…..I’ll let you think about that!
Skillet Toasted Coconut
- Over medium heat, add shredded coconut to skillet.
- Stir occasionally to brown.
- Remove from heat and cool slightly before using.
